Job Description

A specialist events company who organise a global portfolio of investment meetings, forums and dialogues are looking to hire an experienced B2B Senior Marketing Executive. For the last 20 years the company has worked in Europe, USA, China and extensively across the African continent to put on investment summits. 

The company have grown successfully through a combination of detailed research and commercial thinking combined with knowledge and passion to ensure their content is ahead of rival competitors and ensures cutting edge material is delivered and discussed at events 
The aim of the senior marketing executive is to organise innovative marketing campaigns across a portfolio of international conferences 

Supported by the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for planning and implementation of global marketing campaigns of the highest standard delivered on time and within budget. They need someone highly creative with the ability to manage multiple projects. 

As the successful Senior Marketing Executive you will have the following responsibilities 

• Planning & delivering cross-channel marketing campaigns with support from the Marketing Manager in line with the event or project objectives 
• Assisting with design, production & distribution of all promotional materials relating to the portfolio 
• Writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms & materials including websites, social media, emails and brochures 
• Maintaining and updating conference websites 
• Using digital channels and technologies to enhance the online presence of the business 
• Managing and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources and implementing a data build plan 
• Continuous analysis and evaluation of marketing campaigns to improve performance 
• Assisting with the PR activity relating to the conference portfolio, researching material for press releases, building relationships with relevant press and partners 
• Building and managing relationships with external suppliers and negotiating prices 
• Working with key media & association partners to secure valuable external promotions for the conferences 
• Carrying out competitor analysis to identify potential threats and opportunities 
Knowledge: 
• Demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing practices and channels such as Google Analytics, SEO, PPC and social media 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
• Experience using a CRM system such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce

Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm with travel to events expected 3 or 4 times a year
