Job Description
A privately owned property developer based in Richmond is currently looking for a new receptionist to meet and greet visitors and attend to general secretarial duties. The company has been established for over 30 years and provides a range of in-house development solutions including site acquisition, project management, design, construction, marketing and sales.
After being successful in attaining the role, you will be:
*Answering incoming calls / intercom
*Front of office / meet & greet office visitors
*Photocopying
*General secretarial duties - typing, filing
*Recording and co-ordinating incoming and outgoing post / mail
*Supporting the PA to CEO & Chairman
*Managing the diary for in house meetings
*Managing stock levels for stationary and negotiating prices with suppliers
*Organising despatch couriers
*Calculating expenses for senior management
*Ad hoc support to accounts department as needed
*Fire Marshall ( Fire points test weekly / Fire Drill & evacuation twice yearly
*Making sure fire extinguishers are serviced, fire alarm maintained and Pat Electrical Testing is done annually
*Making tea / coffee for the visitors
Ideally, you will have:
*A welcoming personality and pleasant phone manner
*The ability to work independently
*Computer skills
*Attention for detail
You will receive a competitive salary of £20-24K p.a. while working for a group that has a proven track record of project delivery, growth and profitability both in the private and public sector.
Working hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00am-5:30pm, these hours can be flexible for the right individual.
