Job Description

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant or Office Manager looking for you next step? Do you want to work for a company which has been operating for over 130 years?

We are looking for an experienced Executive assistant to join a royally chartered company in Westminster, providing full support to the executive team. The role is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years’ experience in a PA or office administrative role to consolidate their experience in a highly respected company.

About the Role
As the successful EA you will be responsible for:

  • Organising and scheduling meetings
  • Preparing meeting agendas, circulating papers and taking minutes during meetings
  • Supporting the Chief Executive in induction and training
  • Supporting the Chief Executive in the submission of appropriate documents and ensuring that good governance practice is adhered to
  • Providing support to Operations Manager for HR and recruitment duties, including on-boarding new staff members and providing training where necessary
  • Processing financial payments and dealing with related queries
  • Managing day-to-day matters in the office environment, including liaison with building managers and IT contractors on relevant issues.
  • Any other tasks and projects commensurate with the post

About You
The successful Executive Assistant will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an Executive Assistant/PA role within the last 5 years
  • Flexible and mature approach with ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads and to tight deadlines
  • Professional telephone manner

Pay, Hours and Benefits:

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract beginning as soon as possible. In return you will be offered a salary of £28,000 per year + 28 days’ holiday and additional benefits!
