Job Description

Are you genuinely passionate about travel and customer service? A long-established, luxury travel company are looking to recruit a Customer Relations Executive to join their customer relations team in Putney. This position requires an individual to respond, in an appropriate and timely manner, to customer communication and feedback. This is a customer relations role, and not a sales role.

You will be joining a company who have built a strong reputation within their field, through a combination of recommendation and repeat bookings, so dealing with any customer queries is of the utmost importance.

The Customer Relations Executive will play a key role in:

  • Responding to Client feedback received by telephone, email and customer service questionnaires
  • Communicating closely with the company’s overseas team to ensure any Customer issues are resolved
  • Overseeing the company’s reputation management via online reviews, and social media
  • Reacting quickly to mitigate any negative impact on the business of unfavourable reviews
  • Using social media platforms such as Twitter to respond to customer feedback

The successful candidate, who ideally will have worked in the travel industry or in some capacity in a Customer Relations role at some stage of their career and will possess a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service combined with experience of successfully resolving customer complaints. Experience of successfully resolving customer complaints combined with first class English language skills, written and verbal, are essential. In addition, you must possess an ability to work quickly, accurately and unsupervised in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must have a confident and professional manner combined with strong organisational abilities and a strong attention to detail.

Unlike many travel roles, this is a Monday to Friday position only, working from 9am - 6pm. The package includes a basic salary £28k-32K + performance bonus + Free Gym onsite + free parking along with a range of other benefits including at least 2 trips abroad per year.
