Our client a busy and diverse marketing company based in South West London, are looking for an Events Support/Senior Administrator to work with one of their most prestigious accounts. The role is starting on the 27th February and will be for the duration of 10 weeks.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience in roles such as event management/support or guest management/communications. In addition to being professional and presentable, the successful candidate will be confident, outgoing and able to multi task as well as be flexible with an ability to work to demanding deadlines. A Strong administration background is also needed alongside intermediate/advanced Excel with the ability to manage online registration websites, inboxes and telephone hotlines.
Role
As part of an agency event management team the successful candidate will be expected to directly assist the agency Event Managers with the day to day communications, responses, enquiries (by phone, email and post), travel/accommodation bookings, simple cost management and general ad hoc support for various corporate events.
An eye for detail and accuracy is required to manage data and mailing lists and to follow up on missing guest details with ability to research, negotiate and book hotels, train travel, flights, cars, event tickets, ad hoc gifts. There will be a need to have day to day contact with the Events Managers to support the events and any administration and events related tasks.
